Blaze in conservatory

FIRE crews were called to Swinhoe Place, Culcheth, near Warrington, yesterday when a blaze broke out involving a conservatory heater.
The fire was out by the time firefighters reached the scene, but they made the appliance safe and carried out a fire safety inspection. No-one was hurt.
Firefighters were also called to a fire on open land off Hillock Lane, Woolston.
They extinguished the blaze using hand appliances.
It is believed the fire had been started deliberately.
