Knifeman in robbery attempt

POLICE at Warrington today appealed for information in connection with an incident in which a man armed with a knife attempted to rob a 23-year-old man.
The incident was in Capesthorne Road, Orford at around 2am on Sunday, February 27.
As the victim was walking near the youth centre, a man appeared from an alleyway, pulled out a knife and told the victim to “hand over everything.”
The offender was disturbed hower and ran off empty handed.
Police say the offender was 6ft tall of slim build and was wearing a black balaclava, black clothing and spoke with a local Orford accent.
