THE first photography exhibition to be held at The Gallery at Bank Quay House, Warrington, opens on Thursday, March 3.
It will showcase the work of Warrington Photographic Society which this year celebrates its 125th anniversary.
The free exhibition will take a retrospective look at the work of members over the years, highlighting the interesting developments in photography and the society, from images taken from original glass lantern slides from the 1890s to present day digital ink jet prints.
Emma Kelly, curator at the gallery, said: “We are pleased to welcome the exhibition, as it will be the gallery’s first photographic show since we opened.”
The exhibition runs until April 11.
