Candidates' briefing session

TOWN Hall chiefs have laid on a special briefing session for prospective candidates for Warrington’s council elections in May.
Candidates and their agents are invited to attend the session at the Town Hall on Thursday, March 17 at 6pm.
An overview of the election processes and arrangements will be given and candidates will have the opportunity to pick up nomination packs.
Anyone intending to attend should let the council’s electoral services unit know by no later than Monday, March 14, to ensure that sufficient facilities are available.

  1. What a total waste of council tax payers money! What the Council should be doing is ensuring that its staff know how to conduct an election correctly. Perhaps the Chief Executive should attend such training to avoid any repetition of the debacle of recent elections.
