Search for new Miss Cheshire

THE search for a new Miss Cheshire is continuing – and talent scouts were spoilt for choice as girls aged 17-24 showcased their glamour and style at Warrington’s Golden Square shopping centre.
Scouts were on hand to offer advice and photograph the wannabe models for the competition and more than 60 applications were received.
The girls will now go on to the audition stage, which will include a panel interview and a catwalk.
Golden Square marketing manager Ian Cox said: “The day was a huge success and we found some fabulous talent among the busy shoppers.
“The competition is an excellent opportunity for local girls who are encouraged to combine their glamour and style with a strong sense of community.”
The new Miss Cheshire will, among other prizes, win £250 cash, shopping vouchers from Golden Square and a place in the Miss England Final where she will have a chance to go onto Miss World, where the main prize is $100,000.
Contestants for Miss Cheshire have until February 28 to enter via the Miss Cheshire website on www.missenglandcheshire.co.uk
