Three arrested after drugs raid

THREE teenagers have been arrested at Warrington following a raid by drug squad officers.
The raid was in Victoria Street, Howley and police discovered a quantity of cannabis and about 10 cannabis plants.
A quantity of cash was also seized.
The three youngsters, an 18-year-old girl and two youths aged 19 and 16, were subsequently bailed pending further enquiries.
Sergeant Paul Flynn, who led the raid, said: “The fight against drug related crime is continuing in Warrington. We are committed to tackling the issues that matter to the local community.
“Suspected drug related activity will not be tolerated in the local community. This sort of behaviour is not acceptable and positive action will be taken.
“Information from members of the public is vital in the fight against crime and we would urge anyone who has any concerns about suspected drug related activity in their area to get in touch.”
