A tree for Valentine's Day!

LOVERS fed up with buying chocolates or flowers for Valentine’s Day can now buy a unique gift in Warrington.
Nature enthusiasts can impress their loved one and create an excuse for a woodland walk by dedicating them their very own tree in Griffin Wood, Burtonwood – at the bottom of Hall Lane off Gorsey Lane.
For just £15 people can dedicate a sapling in The Mersey Forest’s woodlands. The recipient will receive a personalised certificate and a map of the woodland.
Paul Nolan, director of The Mersey Forest, said: “Our Dedicate a Tree scheme gives people the opportunity to get involved in the creation of beautiful woodland areas that are helping to transform the landscape of Merseyside and North Cheshire.
“As well as being a great gift, it also has a real and lasting future, which in turn has great benefits for the local community and wider environment.”
Anyone interested in the scheme can find out more online at www.dedicateatree.org or can phone Jess Boyle on 0161 872 1660.
