TWO shopworkers were attacked when three masked men burst into a convenience store near Warrington.
A 54-year-old woman was pushed and a 50-year-old man punched in the face in the raid at a Spar shop at Preston Brook.
The offenders escaped with a quantity of cash in a small, silver coloured sports car.
Police are seeking information about the robbery on Bridgewater Grange at about 10.15pm last night (Thursday).
Detective Constable Mark Naylor said: “If anyone saw the silver car in the area at the time of the robbery, please call me so we can find the men responsible for this incident. The staff members were not seriously injured but were understandably left extremely shaken and these men need to be caught.”
The offenders were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0845 458 0000 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
