HOLLYWOOD comes to Warrington when a celebrity-style film premiere is held in the town to raise funds for charity.
Warrington Disability Partnership is hosting a gala screening of Disney’s 3D movie Tangled at 9.30am on Sunday January 23 at the Odeon Westbrook.
It will be a red carpet event, complete with a stretch limousine, and children are asked to dress to impress in their party or Disney outfits – with prizes for the best dressed.
Those attending can have their photo taken by the “paparazzi” and photographs are available to buy as souvenirs of the “celebrity day out.”
Special 3D glasses will be on sale at the cinema for £1, or people can take their own.
Tickets are £6 and include a prize draw ticket for a Disney Goody bag which will include a limited edition Disney watch.
They are available from the fundraising team on 01925 240064, or can be picked up at the Disability Information Point at Warrington Market. Seats are limited and people are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
The film is a fresh take on Rapunzel and is a story of adventure, heart, humour and hair. In it the infamous bandit Flynn Rider meets his match in the girl with the 70-feet of magical golden hair.
The long-haired Princess Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but when she falls in love she must venture into the outside world on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse, an over-protective chameleon and a gruff gang of pub thugs.
