A JAZZ evening at Warrington Sports Club raised £325 for St Rocco’s Hospice.
The event was organised by the Walton and Moor Friends’ charity committee.
The WirrOrleans Jazz Band fought their way through the snow to provide an evening of Dixieland jazz.
Friends’ representative Diane Ross presented the cheque to Alan Farquharson, past chairman of St Rocco’s Hospice.
Accepting the donation, he thanks everyone who had helped and stressed the importance of donations to help meet the annual £2.5 million cost of running the hospice to augment the government grant of £1 million.
