Woman's purse snatched

POLICE at Warrington today appealed for help from the public after a woman had her purse snatched.
The 63-year-old was walking along Lovely Lane, Warrington, between the play area and football pitch, when she was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her purse from her hand.
He then ran off towards Sankey Way leaving the woman shaken but unharmed.
The offender is described as being about 5ft 4 inches tall, aged early 20s and of slim build. He was wearing dark clothing with a grey hood coming out of the back of his jacket and white trainers.
The incideent was shortly before 4.30pm on Friday (December 10).
