Club man threatened with knife

A MAN was threatened with a knife and cash was stolen during a robbery at Warrington.
Police are appealing for witnesses of the incident at the Richmond Social Club, Richmond Street, Latchford, between 11.30pm on Thursday 25 November and 12.15am on Friday 26 November.
As the victim, a 47-year-old man, was locking up the premises, two men armed with a knife forced him back inside and demanded cash.
Afterwards, the offenders ran off towards Thelwall Lane.
The victim suffered minor injuries and was left extremely shaken.
Two men aged 24 and 29 have been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail until January 28 pending further enquiries.
