THE League of Friends of Warrington Hospital is offering people the chance to hang a bauble on the hospital’s Christmas tree in memory of loved ones.
The 12 ft tree has been delivered to the hospital from Delamere Forest and the League hopes visitors will help decorate if with their memories.
The baubles are available from the hospital’s main entrance for £1 and a card is available to write a message to put on the bauble, if required.
All proceeds from the sale of the baubles will to the League of Friends.
The League has raised more than £454,000 for the hospital over the last six years, through its weekly lottery, its shop in the hospital or its table in the outpatients department.
They also receive donations and legacies to be used for medical equipment and services for patients within the hospital
The League mans the hospital help desks assist in-patients attending church services and supply a refreshment service to patients in A&E.
But they are always looking for volunteers to join them and anyone with some time to spare can call them on 01925 662328.
