FIREFIGHTERS dealt with two arson attacks in Warrington during the night.
A stolen car was abandoned in Greystone Road, Penketh and set alight but fire crews reached the scene in time to prevent it from being completely destroyed.
About 10 per cent of the vehicle was damaged. Police are investigating.
In the second incident, a pile of rubbish was set alight on land next to the former Mississipi Showboat nightclub in Howley Lane.
There was no damage to any property and the blaze was allowed to burn itself out.
