Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery organised by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 13, 14 and 15.. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was awarded to a member of hospital staff.

Memorial service
A SPECIAL memorial service to enable families to remember lost loved ones takes place at Stockton Heath Methodist Church tomorrow (Sunday) at 6.30pm.

Calendar sales
HISTORIC views of Penketh and Great Sankey feature on a calendar produced by the Penketh and Great Sankey Heritage Society and available from members, Penketh High School or the Sportsman’s Arms.

Tree walk
MEMBERS of Stretton Parish Council and of the Twinkling Stretton committee are today walking 10 miles from the village to Lymm and back to raise money for a large tree to be planted and festive lights to decorate it. Details are available from council clerk Linda Crewe on 01925 450759.

Jazz night
THE Mart Rodger Manchester Jazz Band is playing at Croft Village Hall on Friday, December 17 in aid of the Aud-Med charity, which supports people with hearing problems.
