Bungalow plan under scrutiny

0

A PLAN to convert a bungalow into a two-storey house at Warrington is to be examined in detail by councillors.
Members of the borough council’s planning sub-committee will visit the property in Westbrook Crescent before reaching a decision.
Ashbury Homes have applied for permission to raise the roof height to accommodate rooms in the roof space and build a part two-storey extension at the rear.
A neighbour has objected on the grounds the extensions would damage the character of the area, but planning officers are recommending the scheme be approved on the grounds the road is already a mix of houses and bungalows.
