WARRINGTON Town have been drawn at home to Cheshire Senior Cup giant killers Congleton Town in the 3rd round of the competition.
While Warrington were struggling to beat Vodkat Division 2 outfit Runcorn Town on penalties, Congleton, from Vodkat Division One, celebrated a shock 3-2 victory over table topping Chester FC at the Deva Stadium.
The 3rd round clash will take place at Cantilever Park on Tuesday, December 14, kick off 7.45pm when Warrington should have been playing their re-arranged league game at Prescot Cables, which will now have to be re-arranged again.
