New finance chief appointed

WARRINGTON man Keith Alderson has been appointed managing director, Corporate and Business Banking and joined the executive team at Co-operative Financial Services (CFS).
He was previously business leader for the Corporate Banking division.
His new role includes all of CFS non-personal banking business, together with involvement in the management and direction of the wider business.
Mr Alderson joined the bank as director of Corporate Banking in 2003. Since then he has steered growth in its corporate lending book from £1.75bn to almost £9bn, and doubled its number of corporate banking centres from 10 to 20.
A well-known figure within the North-West business community, he is a board member of MIDAS – Greater Manchester’s Investment Agency – and a trustee of the United Norwest Pension Scheme.
