Festival funds to go to charity

FUNDS raised by this year’s Lymm May Queen Festival are now being distributed and local charities and community groups can apply.
More than £1,000 is available and groups interested should contact chairman Lynn Shaw, 85 Whitbarrow Road, Lymm, WA13 9AY, or by email at [email protected] before December 1.
Those applying need to give their name and the charity name and registration number. They should also give an outline of what the money will be used for and what impact it will have on the local community.
Lynn said: “It is fair that the money goes back to the people in Lymm and supports the community in the area.”
Once the money has been distributed the committee will announce a date for the next AGM.
