Students cook up help for heroes

A SERIES of high quality lunches and dinners are being organised in Warrington for the Help for Heroes charity next week.
Business studies and catering students at Warrington Collegiate are arranging the events at the college’s Buckley’s Restaurant.
Some of the catering students got through to the national finals of the Nestle Toque D’or competition – so staff say guests can enjoy food of a high standard.
The menu on offer is taken from the Help for Heroes specialist cookbook.
The two-course charity lunch menu, priced £9.50, will be served on November 9 and 11. A three course dinner, priced £15.50, will be served on November 10 and 11.
Restaurant bookings are open to the public and anyone interested should call 01925 494 378 or e-mail [email protected]
A variety of fundraising events will also be held during the week.
