Church concert
THE St Cecilia Concert at St Mary’s Priory Church, Buttermarket Street, Warrington, on Saturday, November 20, will feature the church’s adult and junior choirs, directed by Michael Wynne. The free concert starts at 7.30pm.

Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 3, 6, 7 and 12. The jackpot prize went unclaimed and a £25 consolation prize was awarded to a member of hospital staff.

Planning veto
PLANS for the erection of a screen and the retention of an air conditioning and refrigeration plant at the Save Service Station, Lovely Lane, Warrington, have been thrown out by Warrington planning bosses.

A MOBILE classroom is to be provided at Foxwood School, Chatfield Drive, Warrington, following the granting of planning consent.
