LYMM Parish Council has called for another review of car parking in the village following claims that vehicles are parking dangerously since the introduction of the pay and display on the Pepper Street car park.
Coun Pam Marks (pictured) told members of the parish council that she was concerned that following the introduction of pay and display car parking in Lymm, people were now parking on the streets in a dangerous manner.
She said there was often a problem with cars parked on both sides of Brookfield Road and on the west side of Eagle Brow near the new nursery, with on street parking increasing since the introduction of the pay and display car park.
Coun Joe Griffiths said that many of the white lines in the Pepper Street Car Park had faded and the surface was breaking up in various places.
Members of the parish council agreed to ask Warrington Borough Council to undertake a review of the car parking in Lymm and to re-paint the white lines and repair the surface in the Pepper Street Car Park.
