Attempt at spooky world record

AN attempt at a spooky world record will be made in Warrington on Halloween, Sunday October 31.
Theme park Gulliver’s is asking people to don their spookiest outfits in a bid to beat the current Guinness World Record of 508 people gathered in full Halloween fancy dress.
On the day the park will be open from 10.30am to 8pm with a firework finale to mark the end of Halloween Week celebrations.
Attractions will be marked with a spooky rating, so that parents can choose which are suitable for their children. They include Leonard’s Scare School, Gilly’s trick or treat challenge, Percy’s Pumpkin Patch Olympics and Ellie’s Halloween Crafty Corner.
Everyone in fancy dress will receive £1 off admission before 2pm.
Managing director Julie Dalton said: “We love seeing families dressed up in weird and wonderful outfits having a great time taking part in our spooky activities – if we manage to all become record breakers it would just be a fantastic achievement and lots of fun too!”
