WARRINGTON Wolves Handball Academy U18 teams had an encouraging start to their England Handball Youth League campaign.
The Boys drew their first match 11-11 with former National Schools Champions, Cardinal Griffin Cannock and ran out 17-14 winners against Bedford Hawks.
The U18 Girls team went one better, beating Wirral 15-6 and Manchester 20-15.
