FOLLOWING the end of a very successful season which saw them crowned The Co-operative Rugby League Conference National Champions, Warrington Wizards will be holding their Presentation Evening this Saturday (Oct 16) at Eagle Sports Club, Thornton Road, Great Sankey, Warrington at 7.30pm.
As well as the presentation of awards several of the Wizards players and coaching staff will take to the stage for ‘Has Wizards Got Talent’ where they will show off their
musical prowess in what promises to be a captivating evening’s entertainment.
Head Coach Chris Campbell said, “We have had a great season, culminating in the Grand Final win in our hometown at the Halliwell Jones Stadium and the lads wanted to make the Presentation Night a bit different this year. They all agreed that it would be good fun to have a singing competition so eight acts, some solo and some duets, will showcase their talents and attempt to impress the three judges. Everybody is welcome to come along, the more people that are there the better the night we will have.”
Tickets for the evening are £5 each which includes a buffet and are available from Nikki Whalley on 07889 170895 or Warren Whalley on 07815 757454.
Further information on the Wizards can be obtained from club administrator Dave Whalley on 01925 837829, e-mail to [email protected] or by logging onto the club website at www.warringtonwizards.org.uk for all of the latest news.
