Police warning over flasher

POLICE at Warrington are warning the public to be vigilant following reports of a male exposing himself in Sankey Valley Park.
Two incidents took place on consecutive days – October 1-2 at around 1.15pm.
A man emerged from the bushes close to the pedestrian bridge over Warrington Road near to the David Lloyd Leisure Centre and exposed himself to a woman who walking past.
On the second occasion, at the same time of day, the man repeated the same act to the same woman, but ran off when she challenged him. At no point did he try to assault or touch the woman.
He is described as of medium build and aged in his forties.
He has grey balding, closely shaved hair and was wearing a brown hooded top and blue jeans on the first day and a dark blue t-shirt on the second.
Police advise the public, particularly lone women, to exercise caution when walking alone and to report any suspicious incidents or behaviour to police.
