THE annual Regimental Sunday takes place at Warrington tomorrow, with a parade along Church Street for a special service at St Elphin’s Parish Church.
Church Street will be closed to traffic between Manchester Road and Mersey Street between 9am and 1pm
The event – sometimes referred to as “the October Revolution” has taken place annual for more than 65 years and involves the local infantry regiment, the around 20 civic parties from other towns across the historic county of Lancashire.
