LYMM Youth and Community Centre opened every night during the school summer holidays – thanks to a team of volunteers.
Up to 35 young people aged from six to 18, attended to listen to music, “hang out”, take part in activities and enjoy tasty snacks.
A barbecue wrapped up the programme on Bank Holiday Monday.
From September, the centre returned to opening on Monday and Friday evenings from 7pm, for Year 6 youngsters. Entry is free and the centre is providing a range of activities after school.
The centre also hopes to hold junior nights, for Year 3-6 pupils on Wednesday evenings, subject to parents coming forward to volunteer.
