Open weekend
THE Friends of Latchford Parks are holding an open weekend at Black Bear Park on September 25-26 to celebrate the official opening of the former ranger cabin in Loushers Lane for community use and an information base.
Book sale
A BOOK sale is to take place at Warrington Library on September 23-25 from 10am-3pm when hundreds of titles no longer required by the library will be sold at knockdown prices.
Celebrating age
AN older people’s Celebration Day is being held at The Gateway, Sankey Street, Warrington on October 1, with entertainment, crafts, arts, demonstrations, music and dance.
Community Day
FEARNHEAD Fun Day will take place at Lysander High School on Saturday, September 11. Starting at 12 noon, there will be a fairground, bouncy castle, go-karting, Army assault course and other attractions.
Antique show
A COLLECTION for the North West Air Ambulance will take place at an antique valuation and gold buyng day at The Woodlands, Liverpool Road, Great Sankey on Tuesday (Sept 7) from 12pm-4.30pm
