A BUSY road at Culcheth, near Warrington, is to be closed for up to six weeks to allow renewal works on water mains.
Jackson Avenue, from its junction with Common Lane to its junction with Thompson Avenue, will be the subject of a prohibition of driving order from Monday, September 20.
The closure will be in effect when signs are in place on site and access will be under the control of the contractor.
An alternative route via Common Lane, Wigshaw Lane, Jackson Avenue and vice versa will be signposted.
The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out water main and service pipe renewal works on Common Lane.
