Lymm to host England game

LYMM Oughtrington Park Cricket Club is to host a warm-up match for the England Moderate Learning Difficulties team on Sunday, August 22.
The side will be playing the current national disability county champions, Cheshire, whose team includes some of the best physical disability players in the country.
England Team Manager Ian Leather said: “We are looking forward to a fantastic weekend in Cheshire. The squad play a tri-nations series against Australia and South Africa every two years and this game will go a long way to preparing us for this challenge.”
The match starts at noon and entry is free. Refreshments will be available at the club’s bar.
It enhances the club’s status as the focal point for cricket in Lymm providing sporting facilities for more than 130 boys, girls and adults.
