Road works likely to cause delays

WORK is due to start on Monday (August 16) on a major road resurfacing project likely to cause delays at Warrington.
The southbound carriageway of Woolston Grange Avenue will be resurfaced for a distance of about 200 metres from Chesford Grange roundabout, including part of the roundabout.
Work will continue for about four weeks.
Traffic will be diverted onto the northbound carriageway on leaving the roundabout and a contraflow system will be in operation, with one lane in each direction. A 30mph speed limit will be in force for safety reasons.
Temporary traffic lights will be used during the resurfacing of the roundabout carriageway, which will be done at off-peak times.
Borough highway chiefs say access to premises will not be affected.
