Road closed after lorry crash

POLICE have advised motorists using the A49 in Cheshire to seek alternative routes because of a road closure near Tarporley.
An articulated lorry jack-knifed at 4am today – then a vehicle sent to the scene to recover the lorry overturned.
Emergency crews are now attempting to safely remove both vehicles.
No-one has been injured but police warn there are “significant delays” as a result of the incident and advise drivers to seek alternative routes.
