Fire crews put skills on show

FIRE and rescue crews from Cheshire and across the country will compete in a Trauma and Extrication Challenge at Warrington Fire Station tomorrow (Sat).
Crews were take part in a 20-minute road traffic collision extrication challenge while Fire Service medics will be tested in a 10-minute trauma challenge.
Members of the public are invited to watch – and also enjoy a range of attractions at a family fun day with something for all age groups.
There will be go karts, a Forumula 1 car and simulator, magician, car seat advice, road safety film and advice, Fire Bike, Rapid Response Road team, Institute of Advanced Drivers Association display and competitions.
The day starts at 10am and continues until 3pm and admission is free.
