Hospital lottery
TWO winners shared the jackpot prize in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Each received £484.50 and a £25 consolation prize was awarded to a member of hospital staff. The winning numbers were 8, 10, 13 and 16.

Teacher’s song
SCHOOL teacher Jane Dennis, aged 23, from Stockton Heath is to appear on Don’t Stop Believing on Channel 5 at 7pm tomorrow (Sunday), singing with the Manchester Show Choir to raise funds for the Christie Hospital.

Tea for charity
SHELLY’S restaurant in Bold Street, Warrington, is providing afternoon tea tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) from 2pm to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Entry costs £15, which includes food, drinks and a £5 donation to the charity. Details: 01925 645000.

Open more hours
THE Royal Mail delivery office in Milner Street, Warrington, is to stay open until 8pm on Wednesdays and 2pm on Saturdays with the aim of improving collections.

Toddler’s party
A SUMMER party for mothers and toddlers is to be held in the vicarage garden at St Paul’s Church, Penketh on Monday, from 12.30-3pm. Details: 01925 723492.
