WARRINGTON Town are hoping former Everton, Aston Villa and Bolton midfielder Gareth Farrelly will make his long awaited debut when they entertain AFC Liverpool in a pre-season friendly at Cantilever Park this Saturday, kick off 3pm.
Farrelly, who more recently has been playing in Ireland, signed for Town last season but was struggling with fitness levels following a groin injury.
But during the off season he has been training hard with friends at Morecombe FC, along with Town’s centre back Tom Hardwick.
Town Manager Joey Dunn, is hoping Farrelly will now be able to make his long awaited debut when the players get their first pre-season match underway against AFC Liverpool.
The following Tuesday Town will be entertaining local rival St Helens Town in another pre-season friendly.
Admission for pre-season games is £5 for adults and £2 concessions. Children aged under 12 are free.
