THE annual Lymm “Food Fest” proved to be a great success attracting thousands of visitors to the village centre to help kick start the local 10 day festival.
Town Crier Peter Powell helped launch the event in glorious sunshine with 12-year-old Bethan Catchpole (pictured above) helping him keep his cool sharing her ice cream.
The event helped local restaurants and foot outlets showcase their dishes in the village centre.
Various events are taking place over the next 10 days.
