Megan is new village queen

TWELVE-year-old Megan Roylance has been crowned Thelwall Rose Queen at the annual village carnival.
Megan, (right) from Grappenhall, is a

pupil at Lymm High School and a member of the 3rd Thelwall Guides.
She

is a keen swimmer, likes walking in the country and is an animal lover

with a cat named Purdie.
Villagers paraded through the village on a variety of floats displaying well known TV advertising brands, including Thelwall Infants School (pictured above) who had a Cadbury’s theme float.
Megan was crowned on the Thelwall Parish Hall fields were local community groups put on various events.
