Death crash biker is named

POLICE have named a motor cyclist who died following a road crash at Warrington last week.
The collision, which involved the motor cycle leaving the road and crashing into a tree, occurred on the A574 Birchwood Park Avenue, Birchwood, at its junction with Glover Road.
Philip Cathcart, aged 37, from the Reddish area of Stockport was taken to Warrington Hospital where he later died.
In a statement, his family thanked friends and others for their comfort and support.
Mr Cathcart was the father of two young sons, Jack and Alex.
