Hospital lottery
FIVE winners shared the jackpot prize in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital. Winning numbers were 1, 7, 9 and 11 and the £788 prize was divided equally between the winners. A £25 consolation prize was won by a hospital visitor.
Red Cross boost
ALMOST £1,000 was raised for the British Red Cross by an art and craft fair at Appleton Parish Hall in April.
Boot sale
THE Rotary Club of Lymm is holding a car boot sale at Townfield Lane, Warburton tomorrow (Sunday) from 8am to 1pm. Refreshments will be available and there will be a Rotary stall.
YMCA appeal

THE Cheshire Dogs Home, in Knutsford Road, Grappenhall, Warrington is playing host to a fun dog show tomorrow (Sunday) with a wide range of attractions – and dogs – to keep visitors amused.
