TOP mountain biker Lance McDermott dropped in at a Warrington cycle shop to sign autographs and chat with fans.
Lance met more than 400 people at the recently refurbished MJ Cycles at Latchford
MJ Cycles owner Mike Carlin said: “The day was a huge success and we saw just over 400 people in only a few hours. I was very pleased with the day as a whole.
“Now we can only hope for good weather so we can all get out on our bikes.”
Lance was the 2008 Nissan Qashqai Urban Challenge winner and Crankworx best trick winner and is regarded as one of the best “dirt jump” riders in the world.
MJ Cycles has been trading since December 2006 when Mike Carlin, then aged just 21 set up the shop.
Since then he has grown his staff from one – himself – to six.
