Get involved in the census

2

ADDRESS checkers will be out and about in Warrington this summer, encouraging everyone to get involved in the 2011 census.
The Warrington Partnership – which includes the borough council, health service, police and fire authorities and other organisations – is carrying out the survey.
Aim of the address checkers is to make sure all households and occupiers of communal buildings such as hotels, care homes and hostels, complete the census form.
The census is the only survey which provides a detailed picture of the entire population, and is unique because it covers everyone at the same time and asks the same questions everywhere.
Address checkers have been appointed to ensure that the Partnership has up to date information about which buildings are occupied in the area. They carry official census identification, so people can ask to see it.
Further information is available from Contact Warrington on 01925 443322.

  2. Don’t be so negative TB… it’s providing employment opportunities and makes sites like genes reunited and ancestry.com interesting 100 years down the line 🙂
