Schoolboys triumph in national final

WARRINGTON Schoolboy’s Under 13’s are bringing more silverware back to town after beating Barnet 1-0 at the Reebok Stadium last night to lift the Inter Association Trophy.
In a highly contested game Warrington’s hero was George Cooper who scored the only goal of the game in the second half with a stunning free-kick.
During the game both sides had chances but it was the keepers showing their class to keep the shots out.
Warrington almost took the lead before the break but Callum Wallace has his shot well saved by Zak Voskou.
Both teams came out strongly in the second half attacking but the keepers were still on top.
Eventually Cooper broke the deadlock with a stunning free kick to beat the keeper.
Barnet almost equalised within minutes but had a shot cleared off the line.
