AN event likely to draw guitar enthusiasts from a wide area is being staged at Haydock Park Racecourse on Sunday (May 16)
The North West Guitar Show is organised by Warrington guitar enthusiast Peter Hoarty and opens at 10am, running until 4.30pm.
Peter, guitarist in local Eagles tribute band The Golden Eagles, said there would be more than 80 exhibitors in four halls, plus workshops and demos.
“It is the 13th show – and it is now the largest regional guitar event in the UK.”
The show offers a chance to buy, sell or trade new, used or vintage guitars, amps, effects and accessories. There will also be live music all day.
Among those performing will be The Amazing Kappa Band, The Revelators, Fran & Josh, Carol & Mark, Steve Fairclough and Stu Clark.
