Megan is to be queen

TWELVE-year-old Megan Roylance will be Thelwall Rose Queen this year.
Megan, (right) from Grappenhall, is a pupil at Lymm High School and a member of the 3rd Thelwall Guides.
She is a keen swimmer, likes walking in the country and is an animal lover with a cat named Purdie.
Her Mum, Abigail, said: “Megan has taken part in the Rose Queen festival before, as an attendant, in 2006. She is very excited about being Queen this year.
“She has lots of friends and has a lively social life with them.”
The festival takes place on Saturday, June 19.
