  1. He’s a very canny fellow is Mr Smith who keeps his cards close to his chest. I’d be amazed if he doesn’t consider the Wire are still two or three top players short to compete at the very highest level. Even now he’s probably got his sights set on next season and who may be available betwen now and then. I’ve far more confidence in the abilities of Mr Smith than I had in the previous coach.
