POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 20 year old man died when the Ford Transit Van he was driving collided with an articulated lorry in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The crash happened just after midnight on the A57 Manchester Road at Rixton, near the junction with Chapel Lane. The man, from Cadishead , died at the scene.
