Town match snowed off!

A SNOWSTORM which started less than half an hour before kick-off resulted in Warrington Town’s ill fated match at Colwyn Bay being called off for the third time!
On two previous occasions the match was called off due to a flooded pitch earlier in the season. A blanket off snow resulted in the referee calling off the game just 15 minutes before kick off.
With near blizzard conditions there was no chance of staging the game as all pitch markings were completely covered.
Warrington’s next game is away at Woodley Sports on Saturday, on an all weather pitch – so Town will be hopeful of getting their play-off chasing campaign back on track.
