WARRINGTON author Stephen Gerard-Hayden will be signing copies of his children’s book, “The Cobblestone Kids” 
at Waterstones’ book store in Golden Square at 11am on Saturday, February 27.
The book has been re-printed following the success of the first edition and Stephen is now working on a sequel, “The Return of the Cobblestone Kids.”
He said: “You get to know the characters you have created and I found that after completing the first book I just had to start another to bring them out of hibernation, as it were.
“I have had encouraging letters and calls from all over the country which helped me make the decision to write a sequel.”
Stephen (pictured) says his story of back-street kids making their way through life is largely based on his own early experiences.
Although his book was set in Northern England he has had readers as far apart as Scotland and Kent write saying they can identify with his characters.
