Snow joke in Lymm!

1

HEAVY snowfall during the night caused chaos in Lymm village

today, with traffic brought to a near standstill on the busy A56.
Motorists had to resort to pushing their vehicles up the hill on the main road while there was also traffic chaos in the village centre.
But the snow scenes transformed the village into a picturesque winter wonderland and the sledges were soon out in force at Lymm Dam.

  1. Warburton (near Lymm but over the border in Trafford!) is a village many just pass through really, only a pub, nothing else but it really is an absolutely gorgeous winter wonderland at the moment because we have farmers fields at the back and church, cottages at the front. The sunsets and sunrises are breathtaking. Just wish we could locate our digital camera! If we do, pictures will be put on here. If anybody else can put pictures on, would be pleased to see them.
